I am not 100% sure your question but if you ask whether an insurance company, Asset Management offers a fund of fixed annuities, how do they invest? On one level, they spend typically half of the portfolio at least 2 segments … the bulk of the portfolio will be allocated to assets with uncorrelated returns very conservative, most likely involving the management of passive funds. p. ex. instruments that are indexed to Treasury bills, or a dividend index … essentially instruments low risk, but dividend payments in a very predictable.
